Welcome to Frog Pond Farm in Wilsonville, Oregon. Mike and Beth Timm bought the first llama, Carlos, at a sale back in 1985...and the rest is history! Their kids, Justin and Courtney, were raised around the growing herd of llamas and soon other animals started to follow. But it was Justin who really took to the four legged creatures and has been an instrumental piece in creating the vision of Frog Pond Llamas and Suri Alpacas, also known as The Frog Pond Farm, that you see today. Of course, none of that would be possible without the foundation and creativity that Mike and Beth established.

The farm started on Boeckman Road just about three miles west of where the farm was officially moved to in 2005 and where you'll find the farm today. As the llama herd grew, so did the taking in of unusual animals. Mr. Magoo, the emu, joined the farm in the mid-90's. Raised in the house it wasn't unheard of for him to jump in the swimming pool with the kids in the midsummer heat! Mr. Magoo and his lady friend are still part of the farm family so be sure to stop and say hi.

A complete list of other unusual pets that have resided or currently do reside on the farm include (current animals are in bold): llamas, alpacas, Betty and Daisy the camels, horses, goats, emus, Dan the quail, sheep, sugar gliders, donkeys, Cowgirl the miniature cow, chickens, rabbits, pigs, ducks, yak and of course frogs.

Today, the family-run farm prides itself on the high quality products and a down-home welcoming atmosphere. We hope you enjoy the farm that you find a family tradition in coming to see us during the holidays!

See you soon,

The Timm Family

It all started with a llama.
